Creative Process Workshop

s2245-md12-searching-for-life-blogThis weekend past I attended the PSNZ Central Regional Convention. I was super pleased to get ‘honours’ in the Monochome Digital section with the image above in the Regional Salon. It’s a bit different to my nature work but I enjoy trying new things from time to time. I also received 8 acceptances for the other images I entered into the salon. (I might post them at a later time).img_4130-blog

I attended a very interesting workshop with Esther Bunning about the creative process in making images solely in camera.  That is the effect of adding layers and textures but achieving it without the use of post processing.  I wasn’t expecting too much to start with but I have to say it was so much fun!  Simple things that make a huge difference to the image. I thoroughly enjoyed it!img_4131-blog

I have my granddaughters coming to stay tomorrow and they too are dancers, so I am hoping we can recreate some of the images with them.  Maybe even encourage them to photograph each other in a creative way.  Holiday’s with Nana may well turn into photographic holiday programes with Nana!img_3787-blog
