I have always been drawn to the grey warblers, mainly because of their beautiful songs. They are very small birds (6g) and are olive/grey in colour. The flit about the trees and bushes very quickly so it is a challenge to capture good images of them. This year I have been lucky so far with clear sharp shots.
The grey warblers are also the hosts to the shinning cuckoos. I am still to get some decent images of the cuckoos but now I have established a spot where the warblers are nesting, I will stake it out as often as I can to see if I can’t find the cuckoos too.
