30 Seconds At Sunrise

The weather report promised another glorious day so I decided to try for a sunrise.  We got up to a two degree frost and heavy fog!  However I know from experience that when the Hutt Valley is shrouded in fog, Wellington City generally isn’t, so we headed into Wellington.  Cutting it extremely fine time wise, the sky was already light and the beginnings of colour already in the sky, I headed to the marina Oriental Bay.  I was thinking boat reflections and then on to the waterfall, which is exactly how it played out.  Afterwards we drove back into the fog that was still covering the Hutt Valley and home for a hot cuppa.  Did I mention it was very cold this morning??  Today’s images are in the correct time sequence.
