I have been on a couple of pelagic tours in the past with only limited success because of weather and time of year etc. This year I have seen so many birds that I have never seen before. One of the biggest of this trip was the Southern Royal Albatross. These are truly magnificent birds and it was a pleasure to watch them. Of course I didn’t just watch, I had the shutter button working flat out the whole time.
This post is solely dedicated to the Southern Royal Albatross however many other species were also seen and each will have its own post. I feel that these birds deserve to have their own page each.
