On our recent trip away we visited the Ngatea Water Gardens where they have a pond with lotus flowers all around the edge. The white flowers were easy to get close to but they were either almost finished or not quite more than a bud. The pink flowers were over the back of the pond which was a stretch for my big lens. Of all the flowers I have photographed over the years, the lotus flowers are the ones I go back to whenever I can. For this post I will let the images tell the story.
