Our house guests are still living on Brisbane time and as they are not staying that long it is better to keep the baby used to his usual routine. This means that we wake up early and they wake up late, so I snuck out with the camera for a short time this morning while they slept. I found a Pukeko family with chicks of varying ages. Thankfully they didn’t hide when the camera was pointed at them, though one did try the broken wing trick to distract me.
