One of the newer exhibits (since I was there last) at Butterfly Creek was a special enclosure and pond for the water dragons. I only saw three in there, but there could have been more hiding away. The larger water dragon was fascinated with my camera and no matter which way I moved, it would follow. I was trying to get a side on view of it but that didn’t happen. I was lucky enough to capture the smaller of the three with his tongue out, and the middle size water dragon splashing about in the water! I was too close to get an images of a complete water dragon as I only had my big lens with me. I hope you enjoy this selection of images from my time there.
