It has been a while since the titipounamu / riflemen chicks fledged the nest and I made a trip back there just before Christmas to see if I could find the fledglings. I was extremely lucky to be able to find them flitting about the trees. I saw the adult male long with two others making their way up a tree before flying off. I was unsure if I had actually capture an image of the youngsters as they had matured so much since I saw them last, but after some research I am now sure that these images are that of an immature male. I am planning another visit to them soon so hopefully I will find them again.
