I travel to Auckland and back a lot these days and when there is time I like to call in to Butterfly Creek. I have been there a lot and have noticed a lot of changes over the years. This time I was pleased to note that many of the plastic plants have been replaced with real plants, but alas, there is still no seating in the butterfly house since the renovation. This makes it very hard for those of us who can’t stand for long periods of time. I did my best to make different images on this trip. I got in closer still using my big lens, to get more detail in the butterfly’s features and worried less about the wings. I hope you enjoy this selection 🙂
