We have just returned from a trip up North and I have lots of images to process over the next few weeks. I have started on a few this morning – these are from a visit to Wingspan in Rotorua and are of the male New Zealand Falcon – Kārearea.
Still getting used to the new Canon 7D MkII I thought the birds at Wingspan would be a perfect opportunity to put the tracking system through its paces.
I will be posting more of the birds from Wingspan in future posts hopefully with some in flight showing my progress.
I have to say that I am now really enjoying the new camera, but it is different from the 7D I was previously using and it has been a big learning curve. It definitely was good money spent though, I am very happy with the purchase.
