When the tide was out completely we needed to find something else to photograph so we headed over to Thames to the Orchid and Butterfly House. Of all the butterfly houses I have visited this has to be the best yet. It might be small but the plant life is well established and there are a LOT of butterflies! We spent a couple of hours sweating it out with the butterflies then headed off for lunch in town, then returned for another shot at them. The second time we had it all sussed, where the good light was, what settings we needed to be on and loved every minute of being there!
