The Silvereyes are Back in the Garden

Every winter we fill the Silvereye feeder when the natural food sources are hard to come by. It only took them 2 days to find it this year. It is my hope that the tui will also find the feeder and give me more opportunities to photograph them through the dining room window. These images are from the last few days of sitting inside with the camera when it has been cold and nasty outside. Enjoy!

  1. Isn’t it the best when birds return? I have a house wren I absolutely love to hear sing all summer long as they raise their young in my birdhouses hanging on my deck. Makes me smile every day.
