One of my friends lives in a house that is literally sitting in the tree tops. It actually sits on the side of a very steep bush covered hill and just standing on the deck scare the bejeebers out of me. It’s a huge drop down to the ground below. However from this very deck they have a birds eye view of the most amazing bush and bird-life. Yesterday there were tui chasing away karearea from what is probably a nest site. Today of course they were no where to be seen. I did get to see some of the usual birds in her garden though. I didn’t manage too many images but these are the pick of the bunch.
