To both of my regular readers, I apologise for not posting much of late. My feet have kept me home and my camera in his bag. Sadly this situation is not going to improve in a hurry but there is an end in sight. I am scheduled for surgery in two weeks time and once I am over the lengthy recovery time I WILL be back out with the camera and back posting here more often. 
I have had many requests for the use of my images but this last one is the most impressive. A facebook friend told me about one of her friends who wanted to use one of my tui images for a tatoo. I said it would be ok and but she told me her friend wanted to message me to ask. I never received the message so I thought nothing more about it.
Sometime later I read in the paper about ‘filtered messages’ on facebook so went to see if I had any. Sure enough, there was the missing message. So I contacted her and apologised for not replying. In return I was sent an image of a tui tatoo which was inspired by my photo. There is more work to be done on it, apparently there will be a mirror image of the tui and some pohutukawa between them. I can’t wait to see the finished work.
