Fantails are such quick little birds that it is hard to get a good image of them. I have been trying for many years and on a recent walk to the Hamurana Springs there was no shortage of fantails to photograph.
I spent so much time with the fantails that I didn’t get to the springs at all. I am limited by how long my feet can handle at the moment and sometimes a choice has to be made, this time the fantails won out.
Hopefully I will be going back to the springs in a few months anyway so will get the other images I was keen on then.
